Policy 1

Return & Refund Policy

All Kippah Studio products are custom made to order. Because each piece is personalized, orders are final sale except for limited cases such as transit damage, material defects, or a product that materially does not match the approved order.

Custom-Made Products; Final Sale

All Kippah Studio products are made to order and customized to the customer's specifications, including fabric selection, colors, sizing, embroidery, interior artwork, text, dates, names, uploaded images, and other personalized design elements.

Because our products are custom, personalized, and manufactured specifically for each customer, all sales are final.

  • We do not accept returns, exchanges, or general refund requests for buyer's remorse or changes of mind.
  • We do not accept returns, exchanges, or general refund requests for event cancellations or postponed events.
  • We do not accept returns, exchanges, or general refund requests for ordering the wrong size, color, spelling, date, artwork, or design option.
  • We do not accept returns, exchanges, or general refund requests for dissatisfaction with design choices approved, submitted, or requested by the customer.
  • We do not accept returns, exchanges, or general refund requests for minor differences in appearance resulting from handmade production, fabric texture, embroidery, print placement, monitor settings, lighting, or the fact that digital previews are illustrative and not exact physical proofs.

Limited Exceptions

Notwithstanding the final-sale nature of our products, we may offer an appropriate remedy if the item received was materially different from the order that was approved and paid for, arrived damaged in transit, or contains a manufacturing defect that substantially impairs its intended use.

If one of those limited exceptions applies, our sole obligation, and your exclusive remedy, will be one of the following, at our option and to the fullest extent permitted by law.

  • Repair
  • Replacement
  • Remake
  • Store credit
  • Refund, but only where we determine that repair, replacement, remake, or store credit is not commercially reasonable or is otherwise required by law

Reporting Problems

You must inspect your order promptly upon delivery. To request review, contact us within 7 calendar days after delivery at support@kippahstudio.com.

Failure to notify us within that time may result in denial of the claim, except where prohibited by law.

  • Your full name and order number
  • A detailed description of the issue
  • Clear photographs showing the alleged damage, defect, or discrepancy, including packaging if applicable

Customer-Supplied Errors and Cancellations

You are solely responsible for confirming that all names, dates, text, colors, fonts, uploaded files, artwork, sizing choices, shipping details, and other order information are accurate before submitting your order and before paying any invoice.

Because our products are custom, cancellation is not guaranteed. A quote request or design submission may generally be withdrawn before payment is made, but once payment has been received and the order has been accepted for production, the order is final and cannot be cancelled except as required by law.

  • We do not issue refunds, returns, exchanges, or credits for typos, transliteration issues, or incorrect names or dates provided by the customer.
  • We do not issue refunds, returns, exchanges, or credits for low-resolution, cropped, distorted, or otherwise unsuitable files supplied by the customer.
  • We do not issue refunds, returns, exchanges, or credits for dissatisfaction with a design that matches the selections or approval the customer provided.
  • If we agree to cancel an order after work has begun, we may retain or charge reasonable amounts for design time, administrative work, materials, restocking, transaction fees, and other costs already incurred, to the fullest extent permitted by law.

Shipping Issues and Chargebacks

If a package is lost in transit, misdelivered, or arrives damaged, the customer must notify us promptly and cooperate with reasonable carrier investigation requests. Delivery scan data, carrier records, and address information may be used to evaluate claims.

We are not responsible for packages that are delayed, lost, misdelivered, or stolen due to an incorrect or incomplete address supplied by the customer, and we are not responsible for theft after confirmed delivery to the address provided at checkout, except as required by law.

If you believe there is a billing error or order problem, contact support@kippahstudio.com before initiating a chargeback or payment dispute and give us a reasonable opportunity to resolve the matter.

Policy 2

Terms of Service

These Terms govern use of Kippah Studio's website, quote flow, invoice flow, checkout flow, and related services. They set expectations around custom production, customer responsibilities, submitted content, liability limits, and dispute handling.

Eligibility and Scope

By accessing or using the site, requesting a quote, submitting design materials, paying an invoice, or placing an order, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the site or place an order.

  • You must be at least the age of majority in your jurisdiction of residence and able to form a binding contract.
  • All information you provide must be true, accurate, current, and complete.
  • Your use of the site and purchase of our products must comply with applicable laws and regulations.

Quotes, Orders, and Payment

Kippah Studio offers custom, made-to-order kippahs and related personalized products. Any digital preview, rendering, mockup, or 3D visualization is for general illustration only, and the final physical product may vary due to handmade manufacturing, embroidery, printing, fabric behavior, lighting, screens, and production methods.

Submitting a design request, quote request, or customization details does not create a binding obligation on Kippah Studio to accept, manufacture, or ship an order.

  • We may review submissions before issuing an invoice or accepting an order.
  • We may refuse any order for any lawful reason, including suspected fraud, pricing errors, unavailable materials, operational limits, or prohibited content.
  • An order is not accepted until we expressly accept it and receive valid payment in cleared funds.
  • Prices, shipping terms, taxes, and availability are subject to change until an order is accepted.

Customer Responsibilities and Submitted Materials

You are solely responsible for reviewing and confirming the accuracy of all names, dates, spellings, colors, dimensions, sizes, text, and customization details, and for ensuring that uploaded files, artwork, logos, and photographs are accurate, usable, and high enough quality for production.

If you submit text, images, logos, photographs, artwork, designs, or other materials, you represent and warrant that you own them or have all necessary rights and permissions to authorize us to use them for your order.

You grant Kippah Studio a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to host, copy, reproduce, modify as reasonably necessary, adapt for production, process, transmit, display internally, and otherwise use submitted materials solely for reviewing, designing, manufacturing, packaging, fulfilling, supporting, and administering your order, and for related recordkeeping and legal compliance purposes.

  • Submitted material must not infringe any third-party right.
  • Submitted material must not be defamatory, obscene, hateful, unlawful, or otherwise objectionable.
  • We may reject, remove, or refuse submitted material at any time in our sole discretion.

Production, Returns, and Cancellations

Production and delivery timelines are estimates only unless expressly stated otherwise in writing. We do not guarantee that any order will ship, arrive, or be available by a particular date.

All custom orders are final sale and are subject to our Return & Refund Policy.

We reserve the right, in our sole discretion, to refuse, suspend, limit, or cancel any order or service for any lawful reason, including suspected fraud, pricing errors, suspected infringement, abusive conduct, inability to obtain materials, or breach of these Terms.

  • We are not liable for delays caused by material shortages, carrier delays, weather events, customs processing, acts of God, labor disruptions, public health events, inaccurate customer information, late approvals, or other causes beyond our reasonable control.
  • If we cancel an order before production for reasons not caused by the customer's breach, we will generally refund amounts actually paid.
  • If cancellation arises from the customer's breach, prohibited content, or requested changes after work has begun, we may retain reasonable amounts for services performed, materials ordered, transaction costs, and losses incurred, to the fullest extent permitted by law.

Intellectual Property, Warranties, and Liability

The site and all content on the site other than submitted customer materials, including text, graphics, logos, branding, layouts, software, previews, images, designs, and other materials, are owned by Kippah Studio or our licensors and are protected by intellectual property laws.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, the site, all content, and all products and services are provided on an as is and as available basis, without warranties of any kind, whether express, implied, statutory, or otherwise.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Kippah Studio will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits, revenue, business, data, goodwill, or use, arising out of or related to the site, any order, any product, or these Terms, even if advised of the possibility of such damages.

  • We do not warrant that digital previews will exactly match finished physical products.
  • We do not warrant that colors will appear identical across devices, fabrics, or production methods.
  • Our total aggregate liability for any claim arising out of or related to the site, any order, any product, or these Terms will not exceed the greater of the amount actually paid for the specific order giving rise to the claim or USD $100.

Disputes and Changes

Before starting formal action relating to a dispute, you agree to contact Kippah Studio at support@kippahstudio.com and give us a reasonable opportunity to resolve the matter informally.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, disputes must be brought on an individual basis and not as a plaintiff or class member in any purported class, collective, consolidated, or representative proceeding.

If a dispute is permitted to proceed in arbitration, the parties agree that it may be resolved by binding arbitration under applicable consumer rules and may proceed remotely or on written submissions where permitted. If arbitration is unavailable or unenforceable, any dispute may be brought only in a court of competent jurisdiction.

We may update these Terms at any time in our sole discretion. The updated version will be effective when posted, unless otherwise stated.

Policy 3

Shipping Policy

Kippah Studio offers free standard shipping on eligible orders. Because every kippah is custom made to order, shipping timelines include review, production, and carrier transit, and all delivery dates are estimates rather than guarantees.

Overview and Order Flow

Kippah Studio offers free standard shipping on eligible customer orders unless otherwise stated in writing, on an invoice, or at checkout. Because our products are custom made to order, shipping timelines include both review or production time and carrier transit time.

  3. 3We send an invoice if the order is approved.
  4. 4Production begins after payment is received and the order is accepted for fulfillment.

Review, Production, and Transit

We generally review custom orders within 1 to 2 business days. After review and payment confirmation, custom kippah orders are typically handcrafted and shipped within 8 weeks or less.

All timelines are estimates only and are not guaranteed delivery dates. Production time may increase during holiday periods, peak wedding or event seasons, material shortages, supply interruptions, or if we need additional information or approvals from you.

Carrier transit times begin only after the order has completed production and has been handed to the carrier. Transit estimates are outside our control and may vary by destination, season, carrier capacity, weather, customs, or other events.

Shipping Methods and Delays

Standard shipping is free on eligible orders unless otherwise stated. Expedited shipping, if offered, may involve additional charges and must be approved in writing, on the invoice, or at checkout. Special shipping requests may be subject to additional charges, carrier limitations, and fulfillment constraints.

Free shipping applies only to the shipping method designated by us as standard shipping. It does not include optional premium services, customs charges, import duties, taxes, or special handling unless expressly stated otherwise.

  • We are not responsible for delays caused by inaccurate shipping information, customer-requested changes, delayed approvals or delayed responses from the customer, carrier delays, customs processing, weather or natural disasters, public health events, labor disruptions, supply shortages, or other causes beyond our reasonable control.
  • If we expect a material shipment delay after accepting an order, we may notify the customer and, where required by applicable law, provide the option to consent to the delay or cancel for a refund of amounts paid for unshipped items.

Address Accuracy, Tracking, and Claims

The customer is solely responsible for providing a complete and accurate shipping address. We are not responsible for delays, non-delivery, added fees, or losses resulting from an incorrect, incomplete, outdated, or undeliverable address provided by the customer.

When tracking is available, tracking information will generally be sent after shipment. Delivery confirmation from the carrier may be used as evidence that an order was delivered to the shipping address provided.

If an order arrives damaged, or if a package is believed to be lost in transit, contact support@kippahstudio.com promptly and no later than 7 calendar days after the marked delivery date or delivery scan.

  • Returned packages caused by incorrect, incomplete, refused, or undeliverable addresses may lead to reshipment charges, storage costs, address correction fees, or other related costs.
  • Customers may be required to cooperate with reasonable carrier investigations and provide photographs of the package and product where applicable.
  • We are not responsible for packages stolen after confirmed delivery to the correct address, except as required by law.

International Orders and Risk of Loss

If we make international shipping available, the customer is responsible for customs duties, import taxes, brokerage fees, value-added taxes, and other charges imposed by the destination country unless we expressly state otherwise in writing.

International orders may be subject to additional restrictions, delays, and customs inspections outside our control.

Risk of loss transfers as permitted under applicable law. Nothing in this Policy limits any non-waivable consumer rights a customer may have under applicable law.
